Job summary

InVision Customized Services seeks an Awake Overnight Direct Support professional to provide dedicated overnight assistance to residents, implementing individual support plans and ensuring wellbeing. The role emphasizes person-centered decision making, respectful interactions, and proactive communication with the care team.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED; experience in social services preferred.
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance, registration, and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to travel locally and participate in training and background checks.

Responsibilities

Provides overnight support per Individual Support Plan and follows health and safety requirements.
Recognizes and responds to non-verbal cues; de-escalates crises and supports person-centered decisions.
Maintains accurate documentation of medical procedures, incidents, and daily notes; supports ISP goals.
Participates in debriefings, communicates feedback, and collaborates with the house team to meet residents’ needs.
