Job summary

InVision Human Services, Inc. seeks an Overnight Awake Direct Support Professional to provide direct support during the overnight shift.

The role focuses on implementing the Individual Support Plan, ensuring regulatory compliance, and addressing emergent medical needs while supporting the person’s goals and well-being. The position requires a compassionate, professional approach, effective communication, and the ability to deescalate crises.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and experience in the field of social services or with people with intellectual disabilities/mental health needs preferred.
• Associate degree or Bachelor’s of Science or Arts in related field preferred; prior knowledge of 6400 regulations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Encourages and honors each person to be the decision maker in his/her life.
• Interacts with each person with an understanding that the person is capable and competent.
• Performs all job duties with the understanding that what is most important is that which is important to the person supported.
• Documents medical appointments and ISP-related activities and communicates status to the team.
