Job summary

Vinfen is seeking an overnight program assistant in Boston to provide individual and group support, teach skills for independence, and maintain a safe, clean residential environment.

You will implement treatment programs, assist with ADLs, monitor needs, document progress, and participate in required trainings and staff meetings to ensure compliant, high-quality care for persons served. The role requires driving, lifting, and teamwork with interdisciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year experience in a related function.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driving is a requirement with a valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment programs and participate in treatment planning.
• Maintain records, collect data, and document incidents and progress notes.
• Provide ADL assistance, safety training, and transportation as needed.
• Monitor physical and emotional needs and report changes to supervisor.
• Handle medication documentation and MAP compliance.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings; assist with onboarding of new staff.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and housekeeping; manage last-minute coverage as required.
• Provide emergency first aid/physical intervention when necessary.
• Stay awake, alert, and properly dressed during shifts.
