Job summary

Vinfen in Massachusetts seeks an overnight program assistant to provide individual and group support in a community living setting, promoting independence and safety.

You will implement treatment programs, maintain records, assist with ADLs, manage medications per MAP, and participate in trainings and staff meetings to ensure compliance and quality of care.

This role requires flexibility for last-minute coverage and a collaborative approach with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year experience in a related function.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR and First Aid within two weeks of hire; MAP within 150 days; PBS Tier 1 within 150 days

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment programs and participate in planning processes.
• Maintain records and document incidents, programs and routine activities in logs.
• Provide training and support to persons served in completing ADLs and safety training.
• Monitor physical and emotional needs and report changes to supervisor.
• Handle, document, and dispose of medication per MAP requirements and policy.
• Provide transportation as necessary and assist with last-minute coverage.
• Ensure staff-to-person served ratios are maintained and site safety is ensured.
