Job summary

Vinfen seeks an Overnight Counselor to support residents in a community living arrangement in Lowell, MA. The role involves implementing treatment plans, teaching daily living skills, and ensuring safety and quality of life for persons served.

You will maintain records, participate in trainings, and assist with transportation when needed. Driving is required; CPR and First Aid are required within specified timeframes. This is a physically active, hands-on position.

Qualifications

• Three months to one year experience in a related function.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Driving is a requirement for this position; a valid driver’s license must be presented at time of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assists in implementing treatment programs and participates in treatment planning.
• Maintains records and documents incidents, programs, and routine activities in logs.
• Provides ADL training and personal care support.
• Performs fire and safety training and monitors residents’ needs.
• Stores, administers and documents medication per MAP requirements and policies.
