Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a store associate at our LA-REDLANDS, CA location to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and keep the aisles well-stocked and merchandised.

You will handle checkout duties and participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planograms to support a high-performing store. You’ll engage customers in Rewards enrollments, support omnichannel processes, and maintain store recovery, safety, and inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide fast and friendly checkout; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers in Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollments.
• Assist with Omni-channel processes including BOPIS and SFS.
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain store recovery, in-stock conditions, and merchandise presentation.
• Support shrink and safety programs and SOP compliance.
• Cross train in Custom Framing selling and production.
