Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. LA-BREA, CA store is hiring a team member to deliver friendly customer service, assist shoppers, and ensure a fast checkout. You will handle cash, enroll customers in Rewards and Private Label cards, and support omnichannel options like BOPIS and SFS.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking, planogram maintenance, and ensuring in-stock merchandised aisles. It’s a busy retail environment with evening/weekend shifts and safety compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Help customers locate products and provide solutions
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on rewards programs and enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Complete merchandise recovery and maintain stock levels and store appearance
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies
• Cross trained in Custom Framing selling and production
