Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Melissa, TX is seeking a store leadership professional to drive customer satisfaction and sales across assigned store areas.

You will coach teams, manage daily operations, and implement business initiatives to meet company goals while maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment. You will oversee budgeting, merchandising, and inventory processes, lead change initiatives, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• 2 years of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, acknowledge firearms background requirements.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (for example, Academy trainings, Open Door trainings, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching training and actively listening to associates touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives the financial performance by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training and mentoring.
