Meijer Inc. is opening a new store in Glen Carbon/Edwardsville, IL, and seeks an Overnight Stocking Manager to lead a startup team from day one. You will drive onboarding, coaching and performance management while shaping staffing and succession across the span of care.

This role directly influences store operations and customer service in a brand-new market. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in retail or customer service and progressive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4+ years of retail/grocery or customer service experience.
• Progressive leadership experience preferred.
• A passion to provide industry leading service.

Responsibilities

• Engages with team members to ensure onboarding, training and coaching for success.
• Identifies talent and supports staffing and leadership pipelines.
• Contributes to candid discussions to uphold standards and growth opportunities.
• Oversees area operations and financial results, managing budgets and forecasting staffing needs.
• Drives safety/compliance and ensures training needs are met.
• Guides Leads and Team Leaders with daily work assignments and training.
