Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leader to oversee daily store operations and mentor a team across departments. You will drive sales, uphold customer service standards, and ensure efficient staffing and training.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing schedules, and maintaining store appearance in line with company standards. The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), 2–3 years of retail experience, and at least 1 year in a management position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other store areas and customer service experience helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and supervise team members in daily store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members; recruit and staff to meet needs.
• Improve customer service and drive store sales while maintaining standards.
• Maintain store appearance and product presentation during prime hours.
• Ensure safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
