Job summary

Midway Staffing is seeking an Overnight Staffing & Operations Coordinator in Kenosha, WI, to lead the on-site staffing presence during the third shift. You will handle no-shows, onboard new hires, and support the hiring process while maintaining meticulous records.

This role demands independence, organization, and strong communication with associates and supervisors. You will also transition to recruiting tasks during slower hours, calling candidates and guiding them through the process,

Qualifications

• Experience in recruiting, staffing, HR or similar people-facing field.
• Able to anchor overnight operations reliably.
• Comfortable talking with candidates on the floor.
• Able to juggle multiple tasks and maintain own tracking system.
• Eager to learn company systems and grow with the team.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the on-site staffing point of contact for associates and supervisors during overnight hours.
• Handle no-shows and callouts in real time, working backup lists to keep the shift covered.
• Check in new hires and ensure their first nights run smoothly.
• Support recruiting and hiring: candidate calls, interview coordination, moving people through the pipeline.
• Keep candidate records, timekeeping, and shift paperwork accurate and current.
• Hand off cleanly to day shift with notes on overnight activities.
• Communicate professionally with associates, supervisors, and branch team.
• Keep activities compliant with policy, safety regs, and client requirements.
