Job summary

Pine Street Inn is seeking a Guest Services Specialist for a 40-hour, on-site shift. The role emphasizes direct guest care, timely responses, and support to connect guests with housing resources and services.

You will help link guests to substance abuse, mental health, and medical resources as needed, while maintaining HMIS documentation and policy-compliant reporting. The position requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid MA driver’s license in good standing is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe shelter environment for guests and staff.
• Assist guests in housing pathways and connect to resources.
• Enter data into HMIS and document reports per policy.
• Make sound decisions and seek supervisor guidance when needed.
