Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for the Decatur, GA area to supervise on-site security operations on the 3rd shift. You will coordinate staffing, training, and client-facing communication, ensuring contract compliance and safety standards are met.

You will lead security personnel, conduct coaching and discipline within policy, respond to client requests, and support cost-control efforts while maintaining strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass state-required training or licensing.
• Must be able to pass a state licensing test if driving company or client vehicle.
• One year of verifiable supervisory experience in security (preferred).
• Must be at least 21 years of age; armed status per state rules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee that security function on-site is performed diligently (staffing, scheduling, on-site training).
• Ensure contract-required training and screening elements are met.
• Maintain overtime at minimal preset levels designated by AUS.
• Inspect security personnel and performance for contract compliance on shift.
• Make recommendations for personnel actions for staff under supervision.
• Respond to client requests and make emergency notifications as needed.
• Provide direction to subordinates regarding duties.
• Handle disciplinary/commendation decisions and productivity improvements.
