Job summary

Vail Resorts in Washington’s Leavenworth area is seeking a Security team member for the winter season to patrol, respond to emergencies, file detailed reports, and engage with local law enforcement when needed. The role primarily covers the overnight shift from 11:00pm to 7:30am and supports guest safety and security across the resort.

The starting wage is $20.00/hr – $23.00/hr for a winter seasonal 2026/2027, with full-time hours available.

• Enforcing all property regulations.
• Investigating incidents.
• Writing and filing reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our ideal candidate demonstrates diligence and integrity, while enhancing guest experience. This role supports the overnight shift mainly working from 11:00pm-7:30am.

• Valid US Driver's license - required.
• Extensive customer service skills and experience - required.
• Clean driving record and background check - required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - required.

• Able to work outside in all weather conditions - required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds - required.
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to bend, crawl, climb, lift, kneel and crouch - required.
• Able to work weekends, holidays and evenings - required.
• Able to remain flexible in schedule, working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed - required.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
