Job summary

Vail Resorts in Washington state is hiring an entry-level Security Agent for the winter season 2026/2027. The role provides a safe environment for guests, hotels, offices, restaurants, properties, and retail locations, including patrols, incident reporting, and coordination with local law enforcement.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, is proficient with Microsoft Office, holds a valid driver’s license, and can work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Education – high school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and reporting, or correcting safety issues
• Assisting/interacting with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide a high visibility presence in order to deter criminal activity and violations of resort conduct code
• Submitting thorough and clear reports
• Cooperating with law enforcement in investigations.
• Use radio and telephone communications to call for assistance from Police, Fire, or Emergency Services as the situation dictates
• Perform additional tasks as requested by the Night Manager, Security Supervisor or other Management Team members

The Security Agent is an entry-level role responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all persons and property, including but not limited to: hotels, offices, restaurants, properties, and retail locations. This may include foot patrols, responding to emergencies, completion of detailed reports, and interacting with local law enforcement. Our ideal candidate demonstrates diligence and integrity, while enhancing guest experience.

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage:$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr


• Employment Type:Winter Seasonal 2026/2027

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
