The role emphasizes autonomous night-time clinical judgment, resident safety, staff guidance, and timely documentation in EMR systems. Requires CT RN licensure and 2–3 years of SNF/LTC leadership experience.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of Connecticut (active, unrestricted).
• 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute settings.
• Experience in overnight leadership roles (overnight supervisor, charge nurse, etc.).
• Proficiency with EMR systems for documentation and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight clinical supervision across units (11:00 PM–7:00 AM).
• Serve as primary clinical resource for night staff; triage and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct nocturnal rounds focusing on care delivery, infection control, med administration, safety compliance.
• Coordinate admissions/ transfers and morning shift handoffs.
• Lead and support overnight RNs, LPNs, CNAs to ensure continuity of care.
