Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leader to plan, direct and supervise day-to-day operations across store departments.

You will mentor staff, drive customer service, coordinate across meat, bakery, produce and deli, and help maximize sales while maintaining Meijer standards and community focus. Responsibilities include staffing, hiring decisions, coaching, onboarding and training; managing P&L and shrink; enforcing safety policies and Meijer Friendly initiatives; and promoting career development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• 1 year of management experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze financial data and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Mentor and coach team members; promote career development.
• Ensure prime shopping hours, product presentation, and store standards.
