Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Georgetown, MA to assist four adults with daily living activities in a group home setting. You will provide personal care, transport via wheelchair van, and monitor wellness during shifts.

The role includes completing ISPs, logs, and supporting independence while upholding residents' rights and dignity. Offering health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with employer match, vacation, holidays, personal and sick

Qualifications

• Requires reading, writing and comprehension of English to follow care plans and document services accurately.
• MAP Certification; training offered to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid certification; training offered to obtain within 3 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding and grooming.
• Transport individuals using wheelchair accessible vehicles to appointments and activities.
• Complete ISP and daily logs; track behavioral data and document services.
• Provide medication administration support and maintain accurate documentation.
• Offer companionship, mentorship and redirection as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectful residential environment.
