Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with daily living activities in a group home setting in Andover, MA. The role includes assisting with ADLs, transporting using a wheelchair-accessible van, and documenting care plans and progress.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, English literacy, a valid driver's license, and MAP/CPR certifications. Training for MAP and CPR/First Aid is offered after joining.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• MAP Certification; training offered within 6 months of employment.
• CPR/First Aid; training offered within 3 months of employment.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English to follow care plans and document services.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities (hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, transferring, meal prep).
• Transport individuals using wheelchair-accessible vans to appointments and community activities.
• Complete Individual Support Plans (ISP) to support personal goals and independence.
• Maintain daily logs, notes, and track behavioral data.
