Job summary

Waystone Health & Human Services is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Haverhill, MA. The role involves assisting four adults with daily living activities, personal care, and transportation using a wheelchair-accessible van.

You will document care plans, track progress, and support independence in a residential group home. The position offers part-time or full-time schedules with benefits for eligible hires, including health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MAP Certification; training provided within 6 months.
• CPR/First Aid training offered within 3 months of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with at least one year of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADL) including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Transport individuals to appointments and activities using wheelchair-accessible vans.
• Complete ISP and daily logs; monitor behavioral data.
• Assist with medication administration and maintain documentation.
