Job summary

Chelten House Products is seeking an Overnight Production Manager to lead the 9:30 PM–6:30 AM shift at our New Jersey facility. You will partner with Sanitation, Quality/Food Safety, Maintenance and Warehouse to ensure safe, compliant and efficient production as we wind down finished goods and hand off to change-over teams.

The role requires 5+ years in food manufacturing leadership, a relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in food manufacturing leadership roles.
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Union environment experience preferred; GMP knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight production with cross-functional partners (Sanitation, Quality/Food Safety, Maintenance, Warehouse).
• Direct 3rd Shift Change-Over Team: hiring, scheduling, training and development.
• Maintain change-parts, set-up standards and documentation.
• Identify safety, quality, and performance gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Drive data-based decisions and audits; support continuous improvement.
• Hands-on management to ensure smooth handoff between shifts and ramp-up.
