Job summary

Chelten House Products is seeking an Overnight Production Manager to lead the night shift at our Bridgeport area facility. You will partner with Sanitation, Quality/Food Safety, Maintenance, and Warehouse to orchestrate activities as production winds down and prepares for the next day.

You will enforce safety, food safety, and quality standards while coaching the Change-Over Team, managing setups, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Five years or more of supervisory experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• GMP experience required; food production experience highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering strongly preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Uphold safety, food safety, and quality standards on the overnight shift.
• Direct oversight of 3rd Shift Change-Over Team (hiring, scheduling, training).
• Maintain and organize critical change-parts for unique line setups.
• Develop and refine setup standards with machine center-lining and set-point management.
• Identify safety, quality and performance gaps and implement sustainable solutions.
• Maintain a Continuous Improvement mindset and perform audits as directed.
• Hands-on management auditing processes and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and coach hourly and supervisor team members to prioritize initiatives.
• Deliver quarterly ROCKS aligned with plant initiatives to improve yield and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with day shift management to ensure continuity between shifts.
