Job summary

Winona Foods seeks a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead overnight operations in a fast-paced dairy environment. You will guide Team Leads, coordinate with Maintenance and Quality, and drive safety, quality, and performance metrics.

Responsibilities include ownership of shift handoffs, production reporting, and staff development with emphasis on sanitation and continuous improvement. Weekend coverage may be required alongside a 2nd shift premium.)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3-5+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in dairy/cheese or food production.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with sanitation processes (SSOPs), equipment cleaning, and sanitation readiness in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean, 5S, waste reduction, or similar) or willingness to learn preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, GMP compliance and restaurant procedures.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production employees and Team Leads.
• Act as primary on-shift decision-maker with a high level of autonomy.
• Drive performance in safety, quality, throughput, labor, and waste.
• Lead end-of-week sanitation, ensuring proper execution and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement and standard work.
• Maintain strong floor presence and cross-functional collaboration.
