Job summary

Land O’Lakes is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift at our Hillsboro, WI dairy plant. You will direct workflow, schedule production, and lead a team to meet safety, quality, and production targets in a high-volume environment.

You’ll coach and develop staff, ensure SOP/GMP compliance, and collaborate with multiple departments to achieve on-time delivery. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential; prior dairy/manufacturing experience preferred.

• Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Office.
• Strong time management and multitasking.
• Understanding in Food safety and Manufacturing processes.
• Excellent Team work skills and ability to build positive relationships.
• Ability to direct, influence and coach staff.
• Ability to work with management to reach and maintain production schedules.
• Communicator, decision maker, quality orientation, process improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safety culture and adhere to plant safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure tasks follow SOPs/GMPs and safety regulations.
• Perform Pre-Operation Inspections before starting shifts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Keep daily records of receipts and inspections.
• Direct others to align with production schedules and goals.
• Update ADP timekeeping and approve shift times.
• Review daily paperwork.
• Coach, train, and discipline employees.
• Collaborate across departments to meet orders and goals.
