Job summary

Parking Management Company (PMC) is seeking a dependable Parking Lot Auditor to support hotel self-parking operations in Costa Mesa. You will monitor overnight activity, complete vehicle and revenue audits, maintain records, assist guests, and help keep the facility safe, clean, and organized.

The ideal candidate works independently, uses parking systems, and stays alert during overnight shifts. Key duties include issuing tickets, processing payments, and generating various reports while

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous parking, auditing, cash-handling, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate written and electronic records.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue parking tickets, process payments, and accurately track receipts and related records.
• Complete shift reports, vehicle counts, ticket logs, revenue reports, and other required documentation.
• Report errors, discrepancies, and unusual activity promptly.
• Record vehicle information, organize keys when applicable, and maintain accurate parking records.
• Regularly inspect the parking area and report hazards, suspicious activity, parking violations, and security concerns.
• Follow all safety and incident-reporting procedures.
• Keep the parking area, booth, and workstation clean and organized.
• Report damaged equipment, lighting problems, debris, and other hazards.
• Assist guests with payments, parking questions, and directions.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, team members, supervisors, and clients.
• Maintain dependable attendance and arrive prepared for scheduled shifts.
• Follow company and property policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
