Job summary

Harford Crisis Response in Bel Air, MD is seeking an Overnight Mobile Crisis Counselor to deliver community-based crisis interventions during overnight hours. The role requires a master’s degree in a related field and a license preference, with stipend plus hourly pay for client interfacing time when dispatched into the community.

The position is PRN (as needed), 100% in-person, with on-call overnight shifts and collaboration with the Youth Crisis Team Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Requires a master’s degree in a related field and license preference.
• Strong communication and de-escalation abilities are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced crisis environment and document promptly.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, community-based crisis interventions to deescalate situations.
• Answer hotline calls and provide phone counseling.
• Enter timely and complete documentation in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with care team and coordinate treatment with community providers.
• Arrange transportation and support to adhere to treatment plans.
