Electrical Automation Services in Shorter, AL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead planned, scheduled, and emergency maintenance activities on the plant floor, ensuring safety, quality, and reliable production.

You will allocate labor, materials, and tools, coordinate with planners, and coach maintenance technicians while maintaining SAP records and driving continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Five years of manufacturing or maintenance-supervision experience.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions, and related mechanical equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Lead safety, quality, food safety, and environmental compliance for maintenance activities.
• Ensure work orders have complete approvals and documentation.
• Attend daily shift handover meetings; review 24-hour events.
• Lead shift handover meetings; review downtime and follow-up actions.
• Represent maintenance in production meetings; convey equipment priorities.
• Plan and assign work orders and workload to each team member.
• Collaborate with planners to manage backlog and priorities.
• Spend at least 60% of shift on the production floor with mechanics.
• Direct and monitor safety, quality, time, cost, and thoroughness of work.
• Provide technical guidance and SAP documentation support.
• Communicate schedule changes and conditions affecting maintenance work.
• Manage payroll, overtime, attendance, and absenteeism per site policy.
• Support changeover performance and parts management.
• Document labor hours, materials, failures, and equipment conditions in SAP.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe practices; drive continuous-improvement on equipment areas.
