Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Elmore, AL is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for the third shift to lead planned, scheduled, and emergency maintenance on the plant floor. You will collaborate with Production and Planning to ensure reliable operations and safe, compliant work.

You will spend most of the shift on the floor, mentor staff, review work orders, and drive continuous improvements in maintenance processes, equipment reliability, and changeover efficiency while maintaining SAP records.

Qualifications

• Five years of manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience supervising and developing industrial maintenance personnel.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions, and related mechanical equipment.
• Experience with SAP or comparable computerized maintenance management system.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance team to ensure safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Ensure all work orders, approvals, and documentation are complete.
• Attend shift-handover meetings and communicate downtime and priorities.
• Direct and monitor maintenance work on safety, cost, and thoroughness.
• Provide technical guidance and on-the-floor support.
• Manage crew payroll, attendance, overtime, and absences per site policy.
• Train maintenance personnel and support SAP procedures.
• Develop and maintain individual development plans for team members.
