Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Shorter, AL is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead maintenance on the plant floor and support reliable production.

You will direct safety, quality, and environmental compliance, manage work orders in SAP, and develop the skills of the maintenance team. The role requires strong leadership and hands-on guidance on complex hydraulic, pneumatic, and drive systems.

Qualifications

• At least five years of manufacturing or maintenance-supervision experience.
• Experience supervising and developing industrial maintenance personnel.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions, and related mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical wiring, control circuits, and processors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team's compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work orders have complete documentation and proper approvals.
• Attend daily shift handover meetings and review downtime and actions.
• Direct and monitor maintenance work for safety, quality, cost, and thoroughness.
• Provide technical support and guidance on maintenance jobs and SAP usage.
• Manage crew payroll, overtime, attendance, and absenteeism per site policies.
• Maintain strong housekeeping and continuous-improvement efforts on equipment areas.
