Qualifications

• At least five years of manufacturing or maintenance supervision experience.
• Experience supervising and developing industrial maintenance personnel.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with drive systems, transmissions, and related mechanical equipment.
• SAP or comparable CMMS experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maintenance team's compliance with safety, quality, food safety, and environmental requirements.
• Ensure all maintenance work orders have complete documentation and approvals.
• Attend daily shift handover meetings to review the previous 24 hours.
• Lead maintenance shift-handover meetings and review downtime, completed work orders, and follow-up actions.
• Represent maintenance during production meetings and communicate equipment priorities.
• Review planned job packages for labor, materials, permits, and methods.
• Assign work orders and provide workload to each team member at shift start.
• Partner with planners and schedulers to manage backlog and priorities.
• Spend at least 60% of the shift on the production floor engaging with maintenance mechanics.
• Direct and monitor maintenance work for safety, quality, time, and cost.
• Provide technical support to ensure correct completion of jobs.
• Communicate schedule changes and conditions affecting maintenance work.
• Manage crew payroll, overtime, attendance, tardiness, and absenteeism per policy.
• Ensure accurate SAP documentation for labor hours, materials, and equipment status.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe work practices on shift.
• Lead continuous-improvement activities for equipment areas and drive OEE.
• Support reliability and innovation initiatives in production areas.
• Lead safety-awareness and information-sharing meetings.
• Promote engagement, accountability, and teamwork.
• Provide on-the-job training and assess performance for development opportunities.
• Train maintenance personnel and other users on SAP procedures.
• Develop and maintain individual development plans and one-on-one feedback sessions.
