Job summary

Wonder in Nanuet, NY is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee our kitchen operations, drive food quality and guest service, and lead the restaurant team across opening, prep, and closing duties. Schedules vary by location, with overnight shifts supported.

Pay starts at $21.00 per hour, with an additional $2.00 overnight premium for hours between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401K, HSA match, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Must have effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including the opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive high-quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries in line with company protocol.
• Maintain communication with restaurant staff to ensure sufficient stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices are followed across back-of-house areas.
• Monitor kitchen operational costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
