Wonder is hiring a Shift Supervisor to oversee kitchen operations in Belmont, MA. You will lead the restaurant team through opening, service, and closing duties, ensuring top-quality food and service.

The role includes coordinating with chefs and departments, managing orders and deliveries, and maintaining safety and sanitation standards. The position offers both full-time and part-time hours with a base pay of $22.00 per hour, plus a $2.00/hour premium on overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience supervising and/or leading team members in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full‑service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Collaborate with chef leadership and other departments to ensure high-quality service for guests.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries per company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure adequate stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas and cleaning schedules.
• Monitor kitchen operating costs and ensure adherence to budget guidelines.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is used safely and is in working order.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Uphold operating and quality standards and present a professional leadership style.
• Participate in training, coaching, and development for restaurant employees.
