Driftwood Hospitality Management in San Diego is seeking a Maintenance professional to service the hotel’s mechanical and electrical systems, pools, and grounds. This role covers preventative tasks, incident response, and daily safety compliance to ensure guest comfort and property upkeep.

The position requires the ability to work varied shifts, perform mechanical and electrical repairs, and maintain detailed records.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of building layout, safety and security practices.
• Strong mechanical aptitude for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hotel systems and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoots and repairs malfunctioning hotel mechanical/electrical systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance on a schedule (e.g., room care).
• Maintains pool chemicals and filters; logs maintenance requests.
• Maintains exterior grounds and curb appeal; conducts security patrols.
• Acts as primary emergency responder for overnight incidents following de‑escalation protocols.
• Documents shift activity and interactions with guests or staff.
