Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer Supervisor in San Diego to oversee preventive maintenance and repair of hotel mechanical/electrical systems, supervise engineering staff, and ensure the property stays in peak condition.

You will lead a team, coordinate with other departments, and manage safety, records, and vendor services to deliver reliable, high-quality facilities for guests and colleagues in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership to manage and develop an engineering team.
• Thorough knowledge of maintenance trades: electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily engineering operations and assign work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and other hotel systems.
• Manage preventative maintenance and safety compliance.
• Coordinate with vendors and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
