Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role is helpful.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledgeable of local area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, able to work overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Work well under pressure with many arrivals/departures.

Responsibilities

• Review arrivals, note special requests and block rooms as needed.
• Check in and out hotel guests in a confident, friendly manner.
• Answer phone calls promptly with accurate information.
• Complete shift checklists (AM/PM/Overnight) by end of shift.
• Pre-assign rooms including VIPs, repeat guests, and packages.
• Follow the established key control and credit policies.
• Submit lost & found articles with reports.
• Be familiar with fire and emergency procedures.
• Open, secure, and balance daily shift cash handling.
• Monitor room availability and yield status daily.
• Attend department meetings monthly.
• Communicate via telephone/radio with other departments.
