Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Guest Service Agent to deliver warm, personalized service at the front desk. You will welcome guests, handle registration and checkout, answer calls, and coordinate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, and Valet to ensure a smooth arrival and stay.

The role emphasizes hospitality, multi-tasking under pressure, familiarity with hotel systems, and a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in a Front Desk or customer-facing role preferred.
• Knowledgeable of immediate area, services, attractions, and events.
• Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Work well under pressure, dealing with many arrivals and departures within a short period of time.
• Familiar with hotel systems and operations, and the ability to enter information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Register and check-out guests; PBX operations and mail services.
• Act as an advocate for the hotel and create personal guest experiences.
• Develop relationships with guests to encourage repeat visits.
• Review arrivals and special requests; manage room blocks as needed.
• Communicate with Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, and Valet.
