Amara Cay Resort in the Florida Keys is seeking a Night Auditor & Overnight Guest Service Ambassador to join the team during the night shift, balancing daily revenue and expenses and performing front desk duties for late arrivals and early departures.

The role combines guest service with property patrol, ensuring guest satisfaction, safety, and a smooth reset for the next day across Amara Cay and La Siesta properties.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including overnights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties such as guest check-ins and check-outs during the night shift
• Follow proper audit procedures to balance the hotel’s daily revenue and expense transactions
• Produce various reports for management, including the End of Shift Reports
• Identify the causes of out-of-balance situations and correct errors to prevent re-occurrence
• Reset the pool, public restrooms and common areas for the next day, and help with hotel laundry between rounds
• Answer guests’ questions about hotel services, amenities and local area
• Respond to guest requests and issues through HotSos and follow arrival/departure procedures
• Complete overnight rounds of guest room areas and public spaces and document them
• Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
• Conduct night audits to verify guest accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Assist guests with inquiries during the night
• Ensure safety and security of the premises overnight
• Provide exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere
• Collaborate with other departments to address guest needs
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions
