Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a store leadership candidate to plan, direct and supervise daily operations across departments. You will mentor staff, oversee staffing and training, and ensure service is courteous, fast, and accurate to meet sales goals.

In this role you will manage P&L responsibilities, drive customer satisfaction, and uphold Meijer standards for shrink control and inventory. A strong focus on leadership and safety is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in other areas of the store such as meat, bakery, produce and deli; customer service and product flow experience is helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly to team members.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and analyze financial information.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs and supervises team members in day-to-day operations within store departments.
• Mentors and coaches team members to meet service and sales goals.
• Ensures staffing needs through effective hiring and scheduling.
• Maintains store appearance and product presentation to company standards.
