Job summary

Hyatt House Morristown is seeking a Night Auditor for the overnight shift to manage front desk operations, guest check-ins/out, and daily financial reporting. You will balance daily transactions, prepare reports, and ensure security during 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

shifts, with emphasis on accuracy and guest service. The role requires at least 1 year in hospitality, high school diploma or equivalent, and knowledge of accounting principles.

Qualifications

• Progressive hotel/related field experience preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field is helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of accounting principles.
• Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot guest issues.
• Proficient in Windows OS, spreadsheets and word processing.
• Clear communication of information and ideas.
• Ability to evaluate and select among options quickly.
• Work well in high-pressure environments.
• Assimilate complex information from disparate sources to meet needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight front desk operations from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• Register guests and make reservations.
• Balance transactions and prepare daily reports.
• Complete End of Day processes and nightly audit tasks.
• Run morning and daily flash reports as required.
• Maintain front desk cash handling and record keeping.
• Communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Train new Night Auditors as requested by management.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.
