Ivy Hospitality is seeking a Night Auditor to oversee nightly front desk operations in Lafayette, IN. You will reconcile daily financial activity, perform check-ins/outs, and prepare end-of-day reports for hotel management.

The role emphasizes accuracy, guest service, and adherence to SOPs while handling reservations and emergencies with professionalism. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in accounting or front desk, strong communication, and knowledge of hotel services and local attractions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in accounting or front office preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of hotel services and local area attractions.
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of a front desk agent, including guest check-in/check-out and reservations.
• Reconcile daily front desk transactions and ensure accuracy in accounting processes.
• Run the trial balance to post rooms and close the day, and prepare next-day reports.
• Provide guest service and handle complaints promptly to ensure a positive experience.
• Handle financial transactions, maintain a house bank, and prepare receipt reports.
• Respond to guest inquiries and assist with reservations and wake-up calls.
• Utilize the PMS and related equipment; keep work area orderly.
• Follow SOPs and communicate with other departments as needed.
