Job summary

Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, CA seeks an Overnight Front Desk Manager to lead the Front Office and Guest Services teams, ensuring an excellent guest experience while protecting revenue and resources.

You will interview, train, and coach Front Desk Agents and Guest Services staff, implement standards, monitor Medallia scores, and coordinate with Security, Engineering, and Housekeeping to resolve guest needs promptly.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum Front Office Management experience and knowledge of Opera property management system.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, train, develop, and coach Front Desk Agents and Guest Service staff to maintain a high-performing team.
• Recommend and implement Front Office and Guest Services SOPs.
• Verify accurate room status counts and relay information timely to stakeholders.
• Assist with daily revenue/expense tracking and budgeting for Front Office.
• Maintain contact with guests and VIPs to handle requests and issues promptly.
• Conduct monthly meetings with Front Desk & Guest Services for safety, goals, and improvements.
• Maintain service standards by training staff and reviewing Medallia scores.
• Act as MOD supervising departments and responding to guest concerns.
