Job summary

Shaner Hotels is seeking a Night Auditor to support our Fairfield Inn & Suites State College, a Marriott-branded property in Happy Valley. The role balances daily revenue/expense totals and performs front desk functions during audit shifts while delivering strong guest service and clear communication with guests and staff.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma, 1+ year customer service experience, and familiarity with POS or hotel systems.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overnight hours.
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
