Job summary

Fitness Connection in Austin, TX is hiring for a Front Desk Hospitality role on a part-time basis. You will welcome members and guests, check them in, assist with inquiries, and help drive a friendly, energetic club atmosphere.

You will also support the pro shop, handle basic POS tasks, and maintain a clean, organized front desk area. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, clear communication, and teamwork within our EPIC Training program framework.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move quickly between areas.

Responsibilities

• Engage Members/Guests with EPIC greetings and farewells.
• Check members into the gym using proper procedures.
• Register guests into the gym with correct procedures.
• Answer calls promptly with Fitness Connection verbiage.
• Direct inquiries to the appropriate Fitness Consultant promptly.
• Serve as a front desk hub for members, guests and teammates.
• Assist with security of ProShop area and POS transactions.
• Complete opening and closing duties as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized front desk and entryway.
