Courtyard by Marriott Ventura Simi Valley is seeking a Night Auditor to support late-night and early-morning front desk operations in Simi Valley, CA. The role emphasizes accuracy, customer service, and independence during overnight shifts.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field is a plus
• Prior front desk, night audit or customer service experience preferred
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and front office procedures
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Comfortable with overnight shifts, weekends and holidays
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds

Mansioni

• Perform nightly reconciliations and audits of hotel transactions
• Process guest folios, ensuring accuracy of charges, payments, and balances
• Verify and balance daily cash, credit card, and other payments
• Prepare daily revenue reports and financial summaries for management
• Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments during overnight hours
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally
• Manage incoming phone calls and guest communications
• Monitor and secure front desk and lobby areas
• Post room charges and process guest billing
• Update guest reservations in the system as needed
• Operate night audit software and PMS (OnQ, Agilysys)
• Respond promptly to emergencies and unusual situations
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk environment
• Begin AM checklist before morning shift
• Print required reports for the daily flash using Agilysys and OnQ
• Perform other duties as required
