Job summary

Sun Hill in Simi Valley, CA is seeking a Front Desk Night Auditor to support night audits and front desk operations, ensuring accurate hotel transactions and smooth overnight service.

The role requires attention to detail, customer service excellence, and ability to work independently overnight. Training includes OnQ and Agilysys; benefits include 401(k) with company match and Marriott employee travel discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Associate or bachelor's in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Experience in front desk operations or night audit is preferred.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and front office procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly financial reconciliations and audits of hotel transactions.
• Process guest folios and ensure charges, payments, and balances are accurate.
• Verify and balance daily cash, credit card, and other payment transactions.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and summaries for management.
• Handle guest check-ins/check-outs and room assignments overnight.
• Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
• Manage incoming calls and ensure clear guest communication.
• Maintain front desk and lobby security.
• Post room charges and process guest billing accurately.
• Update guest reservation system as needed.
• Operate night audit software (OnQ, Agilysys) and hotel systems.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and unusual requests.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming front desk environment.
• Complete AM checklist before morning shift arrival.
• Print required reports for daily flash using Agilysys and OnQ.
• Perform other duties as required.
