Job summary

Hyatt Place St. Paul is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our front desk team.

In this overnight role, you'll be the face of our hotel during late hours, ensuring guests feel welcome while keeping financial records accurate and operations running smoothly. The ideal candidate has prior front desk or night audit experience, strong attention to detail, basic accounting skills, and proficiency with property management systems.

Qualifications

• Prior front desk or night audit experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and basic accounting or bookkeeping skills.
• Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with property management systems (PMS); Hyatt or Opera experience a plus.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced, independent work environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or business coursework a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit of hotel financial transactions and reconcile daily revenue reports
• Provide exceptional guest service at the front desk, including check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries
• Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and professionally during overnight hours
• Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments using the property management system
• Balance and verify cash drawer, credit card transactions, and daily posting summaries
• Prepare and distribute daily reports for department managers and leadership
• Monitor hotel security and ensure the safety and comfort of overnight guests
