Job summary

Pier B Resort Hotel in Duluth, MN seeks a Night Auditor to manage nightly financial reconciliation and guest services during the overnight shift. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The position covers Friday and Saturday nights 11pm–7am, handles check-ins/outs, reports, and collaborates with housekeeping to ensure a smooth overnight operation and memorable guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality front desk or accounting experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and basic computer skills.
• Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform nightly audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure accuracy of guest accounts
• Check in and check out guests efficiently while providing friendly and professional service
• Monitor hotel security and safety protocols during overnight hours
• Prepare and distribute daily reports, including revenue summaries and occupancy reports
• Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby area
• Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and record keeping
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and facility issues
