Job summary

Carpenter Hotel in Austin, TX is seeking a Night Auditor to deliver the same guest experience overnight as daytime staff. You will perform accounting and front-office tasks with precision, generating flawless reports in our Property Management System and completing the night audit in accordance with property standards.

You’ll need strong communication, conflict-resolution skills, and a solid understanding of hotel policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Six months of hospitality or service experience with accounting exposure.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures manuals.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; familiarity with property management systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete all shift checklist and balance night audit.
• Generate flawless accounting reports within Property Management Software.
• Open, secure and balance shift banks; verify cash, cards and room charges.
• Maintain accuracy with all accounting and billing procedures.
• Check in/out guests in a confident, professional manner.
• Adhere to brand standards and handle reservations accurately.
