Job summary

Hyatt Carpenter Hotel in Austin (Carpenter Hotel) seeks a Night Auditor to deliver the same guest experience during overnight hours as daytime front desk agents deliver. You will perform accounting tasks, generate accurate reports in the Property Management System and complete the night audit in compliance with property standards.

You will need strong communication, conflict resolution skills, and a solid understanding of hotel policies, procedures, and expectations.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues.
Ability to operate Excel and Word and other computer programs.

Responsibilities

Complete all shift checklist and bucket check before night audit.
Generate flawless accounting reports in the Property Management System.
Open, secure and balance shift banks and verify cash, credit card and room charges.
Maintain accuracy in accounting and billing procedures.
Greet guests and provide courteous, professional service during overnight hours.
Disseminate nightly audit packs to recipients and ensure proper distribution.
