Sonesta International Hotels in Laguna Hills is seeking a Night Auditor to welcome late-arriving guests, support overnight operations, and ensure nightly financial activity is accurate for the morning team.

The role blends warm guest service with front desk duties, nightly audit procedures, cash handling, and cross-department coordination, offering opportunities in a growing hospitality company with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in Front Desk or Night Audit or hotel operations.
• Experience with PMS, POS, reservations platforms and cash handling.
• Attention to detail with the ability to reconcile reports and financials.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced overnight environment.
• Basic accounting or financial reporting knowledge.
• Flexible availability including overnights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional guest service during overnight Front Desk operations.
• Complete nightly audit procedures including balancing accounts and reconciling transactions.
• Monitor overnight activity and respond promptly to guest requests.
• Process guest payments, billing adjustments, and PMS transactions accurately.
• Prepare and distribute daily operational and occupancy reports for leadership.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel operations, inventory, and procedures.
• Support room assignments, wake-up calls, and cross-department coordination.
• Ensure hotel safety and security procedures during overnight hours.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of Front Desk and lobby areas.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security and leadership teams.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
